Working – Carve out a niche for yourself

A very valuable assets and superior quality of great personal skills. Be a walking encyclopedia of knowing something; children names, everyone’s likes and dislikes, etc.

Know something others don’t., develop edge and specialist knowledge, creativity, inside-out knowledge. It has to be relevant and interesting.

Always make sure our work was done on time and supremely well.
Carving out a niche for yourself will take you out of normal range of office activities and further investment of time in something you will improve in working skills.
If the other bosses think you are a good idea then your boss really has to go along with it.

Working - Volunteer Very Carefully

Many people think if they say ‘Yes’ to everything, they will get noticed, get praised and get promoted. Not true. They will end up overworked, undervalued and abused.
Why is this person asking for volunteers?
How will this further my plan?
How will I look to senior management if I volunteer?
How will I look if I don’t volunteer?
Is this a dirty job that no one else wants?
Or is this person genuinely, desperately overburdened and really in need of my help?
Are you going to be seen as monkey?
Only step that one step forward when you are confident you will look good, gain benefit or make a difference to someone who needs help.

Working - Awareness

Working to me is a surviving habit in life.. Everyone wants to survive, have better lifestyle, earn better environment. I also would like to be consciously thinking about every area of my work and make changes to improve.

I am still learning every facets of my job.. aiming at it. Bottom line, I just need to be really good at my basic job. Aiming and unstoppable learning power... i will look calm and efficient, on top of everything and totally in control with ease and confidence.

In an ideal working pace; I will have to get my work done by lunchtime, so that I will have afternoon free. Never accept that doing the job is enough. I need to be moving right along preparing, studying, analyzing and learning.

My friend - Hoi Chua's quotes.

Happiness is not something you will get from life but something you will get out of how you think and how you wanna put things together in your head.

I did want to be happy and trying to seek that out of someone or life but I could never find it till I realize it's all in your mind.

When you wake up in the morning, you got 2 options, you either smile at yourself or you just throw a nasty grumble upon yourself.

Life has nothing to do with it if you are not happy.

'aim' a guidelines to how you strategize your daily affairs in order to achieve certain things.

You can shoot the arrow using you toe, or maybe your tougue or anything, but your aim is the red dot. The bull eye my friend.

if you really give some good thoughts about those ancient people like Edison, Einstein, Faraday, etc.... they just aim for it and hit it again and again until they hit the red dot.

S - Specific
M - Measureable
A - Attainable
R - Realistic
T - Timely.

There are many things that could happen in accordance to how you want them to if you can just do it.
Try here and there, cow will come home. Only with the existence of aim(s), you can prioritize

Wisdom vs Foolishness

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise... But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom

Both the wise and the foolish are known by the friends they choose.

A Description of fools by the wisest man who ever lived:
1. Simple Fool
* Believe every word

* Looks for a leader
* Ignorant of cause and effect
* Corrupted by scorning fools

2. Silly Fool
* Seek "a good time"
* Had fun breaking rules
* Seeks wrong friends
* Has guilt for wrongdoing

3. Sensual Fool
* Sneaks out with Friends
* Engage in immorality
* Involved in drugs and bad habits
* Skilled in deception

4. Scorning fool
* Get simple fools to do evil.
* Despise rules and authorities
* Create contention
* Proud of evil exploits.

5. Commited Fool
* Has a seared conscience
* Believe wrong is delight
* Skilles in arguments
* Seek followers for self again.

Truthfulness (2)

Truthfulness is communicating by life and word what is genuine and accurate.

We must speak the truth in our hearts before we speak it with our mouths.

Truth is the foundation upon which anything that stands is built.
Telling the truth sets us free.

Lions don't lie. They always speak the truth. Lions clearly reveal their intentions with the positions of their ears, the postures of their tails, the shapes of their mouths, the sounds of their roars.

Personal Evaluation
* Do you ask others to point out your blind spots?
* Do you seek how to confront your blind spots?
* Do you believe that you have no serious faults and think you are better than you are.
* Do you lie or tell only part of the truth to escape the consequences of your actions?
* Do you flatter people to gain their approval?
* Do you give damaging reports of others to make yourself look good?
